Lex introduces the episode telling some spooky stories of Denville, then she goes into local upcoming events happening in the next two weeks of Denville (October 25 - November 8). There were no town meetings to review or upcoming town meeting agendas to review. Lex introduces the episode by challenging listeners to find ways to support our town in new ways; emphasizing the importance of having all spokes of life within a town be equally strong and supported. Then she goes into upcoming events in Denville, New Jersey. Finally, she reviews the meetings that happened last week and the upcoming meetings on Oct 20th and Oct 21st. 

Lex introduces the episode with a conversation about what it means to live in the same town as someone else and how, if humans are torch bearers of our inherited shared experiences, we can all get more rooted down into our town and find more ways to keep our metaphorical torches lit. This leads the conversation into the current local upcoming events of Denville. Then Lex reviews the Town Council meeting that occurred on 10/06/2026 and the Zoning Board meeting that occurred on 10/07/2026. There wasn't much to report about upcoming meetings for the next week in Denville.

Then she goes into the local Denville events residents should know about, covering the next 2 weeks. The final sections of the podcast is reviewing upcoming meeting agendas. October 6th (Town Council) and October 7th (Zoning Board) agendas are reviewed. 

Host, Lex Headley, introduces this episode with a crazy idea - raffling houses - for the amusement of local Denville residents who are interested in discussing solutions that help make houses more affordable in New Jersey. The intro is also an exercise for listeners in thinking about why affordability is so important in the first place. Then the host goes into the upcoming two weeks worth of local events happening in Denville, New Jersey. There are also two announcements -- are you ready to decorate your house for HALLOWEEN?? There is a Denville contest happening soon. There are no meetings to review, nor are there upcoming agendas to discuss, in this episode.

It's announced that interviews will be starting January 2027.

Host reviews upcoming local events at the Denville Public Library, farmers market, and community groups, and encourages residents to get involved.

Finally, included in this epispode are the Town Council highlights from August 11. These include progress on preserving the St. Francis property, a renewed AAA bond rating, road and bridge work schedules, a bear-proof garbage can grant lottery, and an Eagle Scout food pantry renovation.
